Haste
"The real constitutional crisis will not come from a president not being proclaimed at the end of the month. It will come from a president being proclaimed so under the cloud of having mugged the voters at the end of the month. That is a crisis that will bedevil this country -- and the presidency -- from Day One. That is a crisis that can, and will, be met by force and oppression, particularly if the media, the Catholic Church, civil society, the human rights lawyers, the civil liberties groups and individuals of conscience consent to being silenced right now in the name of stability, order and peace. There is a price to pay for that silence."
